Make your voice heard! | Dear Friends:
$9,457.72...the number of steps it will take to reach our first goal; donating to candidates and getting our phone banks up and running.
We took 4,728.86 steps this weekend. VOICESPAC made our first round of donations to our endorsed candidates this weekend. We also started to acquire equipment for our phone banks. Small steps but important ones that will make a difference this election cycle. Now, we have $4,728.86 more steps left to go...
It's always an uphill climb for our organization to raise funds but we do our best. Because of the generosity of our supporters, the hard work of many volunteers and champions, we are able to say we issued 19 checks to candidates this weekend. This effort already exceeds the number of candidates we were able to fund with their 1st round of support at this point in the 2010 election cycle. We also have half the phones ready to start making calls immediately. This is a testament to the many great candidates that are running this year and the hard work of the VOICESPAC team. Thank you very much!
So, what happens now? As with 2010, money into VOICESPAC goes immediately out to fund our candidates and we continue that effort until we hit our max legally allowed funding. We will also continue to get our election operations up to speed by building our strong grassroots operation. We also have candidates that continue to ask for our support and will continue to review applications as they are submitted.
We need your help! We believe that all levels of government are important and it is critical that strong fiscally conservative voices are represented to make sure that your voice is heard and your tax dollars are spent wisely. We can not lose one seat this fall, the stakes are high for our States and our Country.
