Can Obamacare still be stopped?

The Heritage Foundation

Dear Michael,

The debate over Obamacare is over. Or that’s what liberals want us to think.

Even self-described conservatives are echoing this liberal talking point. But at The Heritage Foundation, we believe nothing could be further from the truth.

We conservatives have ample reasons and opportunities to continue the fight and build momentum for total repeal.

And Heritage is leading the way on repeal and other critical issues, like the fiscal cliff. Find out more.

With more than 150 policy experts and hundreds of thousands of grassroots conservative standing by our side, Heritage is identifying the legislative tactics and policies to dismantle Obamacare and replace it with a principled alternative.

We are making progress. Just this month, Rep. Wally Herger introduced the most complete and detailed Medicare reform proposal in a decade. Its policies are closely aligned with the health care reforms Heritage outlined in Saving the American Dream.

And repeal of Obamacare will be part of our detailed "America's Opportunity" plan we are releasing to lawmakers in January.

This will be a hard fight. This will be a long fight. The political deck is stacked against us. But Heritage will battle on, undaunted. That's why we were founded 40 years ago: to fight for our conservative ideals when the conventional wisdom says our cause is lost.

Learn more about how we’re continuing the fight and how you can get involved.

Heritage is not backing down in our efforts to dismantle government-run healthcare, and neither should you. Stand with us today.

Thank you for joining us in the fight for freedom.

Onward,

Edwin J. Feulner, Ph.D.
