Life more abundantly    Dear  Mike       Good News Digest   Prophetic Insights to Daily Living Edition #88 - December 19, 2012  Grace and A Christmas Carol    Do you remember Charles Dickens' famous story "A Christmas Carol"? How could you forget when every Christmas season the Hallmark channel is flooded with stories which parody this story of stingy Scrooge who was visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, Christmas present, and Christmas future? These ghosts of Scrooge's conscience came to remind him of his stingy ways by giving him a vision of himself of his past, present, and future if he did not change his ways.   The connection with Scrooge in my story today has nothing to do with your potential for miserliness but seeks to draw a comparison to the grace of God toward us after we have confessed our sins and accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
