Patriot News Digest A Prophetic Interpretation of the news Hal's OPED - America, a culture without God December 15, 2012 The slaughter of young children and their teachers at Sandy Hook school in Newtown, Ct. yesterday was one of the worst in American history. People of all stripes are now mourning and shaking their heads in disbelief over this senseless tragedy. Even President Obama wiped away a "tear" yesterday and quoted a portion of scripture from Luke 4:18: "Heal the broken hearted", however, our government leaders want nothing to do  with God and no doubt few could even quote one scripture. (FYI: in the verses following Luke 4:18, Jesus was thrown out of the temple for revealing that he was the Son of God) Neil Cavuto asked Mike Huckabee on Fox News "Where was God today?" Huckabee replied "We want God to do something for us now but the rest of the year we want nothing to do with him". My answer for Cavuto is this: God was at all the Christian schools yesterday but he has been banned from the public schools years ago.
