A Special Appeal to Keep the Voice of Freedom Alive Earlier this month, NWVs email system was hacked. Badly. No one's email address was compromised, but so many of us received emails from unknown names - as many as 25 copies. It was maddening to say the least. It made matters worse when people replied. If this ever happens again, please DO NOT REPLY. Just DELETE the E-mails.
Everything was done as quickly as possible to fix the problem, but unfortunately, it languished on for a couple of days. This isn't the first time. A few years ago, their servers were badly hacked. Each time that happens, it costs precious dollars to get experts on the job to resolve the problems.
No different this time around. The destroyers are going after all web sites that are a threat to their agenda, causing misery and havoc for those on the receiving end. However, we must not stop bringing the truth to the world.
I know NWVs readers are loyal and appreciate the superb writing, analysis and breakdown of hot issues of the day. NWVs continues to add new writers bringing their perspective and first hand experience tacking on today's toughest issues -- and scandals.
We're all feeling the pinch of economic tough times, but running NWVs is a business even though none of the principles receive a penny in salaries or compensation. With the extra financial burden this month of hacking, I hope you will be as generous as you have been in the past because funding is needed to, well, pay the bills.
If you haven't donated before, I hope you'll make whatever contribution works for your situation. The more folks who donate, the less burden it is for everyone. Keeping NWVs on line 24/7 is so very important.
