Oil Industry Saves Miners
Technology developed to drill for oil and gas (among other things) saved the miners in Chile. What saved them was the Center Rock drill bit, developed by Schramm, Inc. in West Chester, Pennsylvania--historical home ground of America's petroleum industry.
