Good News Digest Prophetic Insights to Daily Living Edition #92 - Jan. 16, 2013 There is a lot of hopelessness in the world today and yet you hear people use the word "hope" everyday as they express their desires for something. However, most of them are not really hoping but just wishing. There is a big difference. The only kind of hope that is effective is Bible hope which is defined as: a confident expectation of something good. This is not wishing but is hope based on a promise from God and about which you can be confident. Hopelessness comes when people believe the negative thoughts the devil whispers into their ears thinking those were their own thoughts. The devil wants to destroy hope because his mission is to "kill, steal, and destroy" - John 10:10. (FYI: the word "devil" is formed when you place "d" the first letter for damn (curse) in front of the word "evil") However, old Dad Casteel used to say "But God" when he heard someone telling what the devil was doing, meaning God has a way to overcome it.
