Patriot News Digest A Prophetic Interpretation of the news US sends F-22 jets to join South Korea drills - [Foxnews.com] The United States has sent two F-22 stealth fighter jets to South Korea to join Seoul forces in military exercises after North Korea warned that the Korean Peninsula has entered "a state of war." A  Pentagon spokesman confirms to Fox News that the F-22 Raptors were deployed to Osan Air Base in South Korea from Japan on Sunday to support ongoing U.S.-South Korean military drills. The Korean War, which has always been called the Korean Conflict (PC terminology) started almost 63 years ago. (I was drafted into the Army at the end of this "Conflict" but never got to Korea; went to Germany instead) This was the first war that ended without our enemy signing an unconditional surrender. Instead there was a stalemate and a signing of a truce at the 38th parallel and we have kept troops in South Korea for all these 60 plus years, all at great cost to us. This illustrates the futility of not having a decisive victory. Vietnam came several years later with the same but more costly outcome. We learned nothing by these half-hearted wars (The Korean War was fought for three years, with no real victory on either side. The same geography existed after the war that was in place before the war and this war cost the U.S. of approx. 35,000 lives and $30 Billion which in today's dollars would amount to $350 Billion) and now Kim Jung Un wants to bilk us out of a few more dollars by declaring the 1953 truce null and void. What did P.T. Barnum say? Oh yeah, there's a sucker born every day. |
