Good News Digest Prophetic Insights to Daily Living Edition #114 - June 26, 2013 When I was a little boy my parents were always telling to be a good boy and I knew if I was a good boy things would go well for me and I would have favor with my parents. So I really tried to be a good boy (My dad used to call me Hally Boy whenever he was pleased with me) but sometimes I just couldn't get the job done and I suffered the "consequences" for it. As I got older and came to know the Lord I still thought I needed to be a good boy and then I would have acceptance from my heavenly Father. However, I found that I still failed time after time to measure up to the commandments of a perfect God and His perfect law so I felt like God would not favor me anymore. When I failed so often I would get discouraged and think "Oh what's the use? I can't be a "good boy" anymore." Well, that part was certainly true, but I have since discovered that the gospel really is good news and that is: I am already a "good boy" with God. Let me explain.
