Open Mind Friday - July 19, 2013 The Pigmentation Problem of the Left I thought everything that could be said had been said about the acquittal of George Zimmerman in his self defense (Stand your ground) trial in the death of Trayvon Martin. I was wrong because the Left is still trying to make their case so I decided to make my case against the Left. There seems to be a concentrated effort by the Political Left to make Zimmerman into a racist and their position is all driven by the color of Zimmerman's skin which is the definition of racism itself. Let me explain: Zimmerman is half white (His father is of German descent) and half Latino (his mother is Peruvian) but his skin pigmentation is white. So the press called him a "White" Latino which is a new racial description because Latino is a distinct race from white or Anglo. Now, on the other hand, Obama is also half white (His mother was white) and half black (his father was from Kenya) but he has chosen to identify with black people because of his skin pigmentation. He obviously took a racial position when he said at the outset of the Zimmerman trial "If I had a son he would look like Trayvon Martin". Obama's DOJ head, Eric Holder (who is also black) is revving up an investigation to determine if Zimmerman violated Martin's civil rights . . . |
