Patriot News Digest A Prophetic Interpretation of the news Daily Show: "Judgement Gay" On Supreme Court's DOMA Decision - [Realclearpolitics.com]That was the headline of liberal Real Clear Politics when they posted a video on the DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act - signed into law by Pres. Clintonin 1996)) decision last Wed. The video shows John Oliver, sitting in for Jon Stewart, jumping up and down and shouting "We did it". Also included on this site, was a link to a Nancy Pelosi video where she said "National gay marriage in five years? I hope so" while Judge Jeanne Pirro called the SCOTUS bullies. Here are my comments: In referring to the DOMA decision as "Judgment Gay" which is a play on the term "Judgment Day" they don't know how right they are because there will be a Judgment Day soon if this country continues on its path of self destruction. Ever heard of Sodom and Gomorrah? Click Judgment Day for the statement of St. Peter from 2 Peter 2:1-10 - 6if he (God) condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; . . .9if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. 10This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority. End quote. In addition, the SCOTUS, in the majority opinion by "Justice" Kennedy, has, in effect, called God a bigot. Then there is Galatians 6:7,8 - 7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. (Or a nation)8Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. You may be thinking "Why are you always quoting scriptures? I thought you were writing about political stuff." And "Ever heard of separation of church and state?" Well, first of all "Separation of church and state" is not in the Constitution. This term was misinterpreted from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Church of Danbury, Mass in 1802. Here is the misapplied paragraph from Jefferson: I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people (The First Amendment to the Constitution) which declared that their legislature would "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church and State. Second:This was a wall to protect the church from the state not to keep church teachings out of state affairs. The whole Constitution constantly refers to "Providence" or God in granting freedom and authority to Americans. "But" you may also say "I don't believe in God or the Constitution (like Obama) so none of that stuff applies to me". And I say "Au contraire" it does apply to you whether you believe in God or not. Do you believe in light? It was God who said "Let there be light". By the same token you don't have to believe in gravity for it to work. Just try jumping off a building while saying "I don't believe in gravity so it doesn't apply to me". Lots of luck! Please pray for another a great awakening in America! Israel Today - Kerry fails in bid for Israeli-Palestinian summit - Duhh! Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - Psalm 122:6 Happy Independence Day! |
