Patriot Views Digest Open Mind Friday - 7/5/13 Open Mind Friday - I write; you decide Sarah Palin: Holes in the Border as big as holes in Amnesty bill - Former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin took to her social media and blasted the amnesty bill that is being debated. Specifically she targeted Florida Senator Marco Rubio. According to her Twitter account, Palin was responding to a Townhall article by Leah Barkoukis on Rubio titled Candidate Rubio: 'Earned Path to Citizenship is Basically Code for Amnesty'. She then went on to title a post on her Facebook page as Holes in the Border As Big As the Holes in Their Amnesty Bill FYI: Sarah Palin and Marc Levin are threatening to start a third party called the Freedom Party. What do you think? Email me at Halmitch@cox.net The Fig Leaf Analogy Adam and Eve were forbidden by God to eat the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. When they disobeyed and ate the fruit anyway their eyes were opened and they knew they were naked and they sewed fig leaves to cover their nakedness. My Analogy: The Immigration (Amnesty) Reform Bill is the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, about the bill. The liberal Democrats represent a false god (Obama) who forbids the GOP (Adam and Eve) from reading the bill until it is passed. (Just like Obamacare) This is known as the Pelosi effect. Once the bill is passed the GOP gets to take a bite and, voila, their eyes are opened and they now have the knowledge of good and evil (Mostly evil) that is in the bill. However, now it's too late, they have sinned and they know they are naked and they begin to sew fig leaves (excuses, like" I didn't know" and "We wanted the Hispanic vote") together to cover their naked butts. As old Jeremiah Wright prophesied (A prophet of doom) "Your chickens have come home to roost". This is why the GOP is irrelevant and there will be a third party. (Also prophesied, but not by Wright) My political view; what do you think? Email: Halmitch@cox.net Hal Mitchell |
