Rand Paul may refrain from peeing for 13-hours again -- Cheney's back -- Meet Republican Rep. Trey-Z -- Kim Jong-OWNED -- Tweet of Yesterday -- Today in North Korean News

1) Rand Paul may refrain from peeing for 13-hours again -- Hopefully, the senator is training his bladder.  TheDC's Alex Pappas reports:

"Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul signaled Tuesday that he may be gearing up for another filibuster of an administration appointee unless he gets more answers about the government’s use of drones. Appearing on Fox News, the Republican lawmaker said he has placed a hold on the nomination of James Comey, President Obama’s nominee for FBI director. 'A hold is like the beginning of a filibuster,' Paul told anchor Eric Bolling. 'Should they bring it to the floor, and I choose to speak like I did on the drone subject earlier, than as long as I can speak I can stop the debate.'"

2.) Cheney's back -- Only this time he's a she. TheDC's Alex Pappas reports:

"Liz Cheney is running for the U.S. Senate in Wyoming. The politically active daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney announced in a YouTube video Tuesday that she will run in 2014 for the Senate seat currently held by Wyoming Republican Sen. Mike Enzi. 'President Obama and his liberal allies will try to stop us every step of the way,' Cheney said. 'But if we are passive, if we fail to take up this challenge, if we fail to defend our nation against these destructive policies, our very freedoms will be at risk.'”

Get ready for a feisty primary. Supposing Cheney wins the primary and the general election, some people have suggested she might make a compelling Republican vice presidential candidate in 2016 for, say, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. So America, get ready: Bush-Cheney may be coming back to a White House near you.
3.) Meet Republican Rep. Trey-Z -- Trey Radel is trying to reach out to the young folk. TheDC's Taylor Bigler reports:

"It looks like Sen. Marco Rubio isn’t the only conservative Florida congressman who appreciates sick beats. Freshman Rep. Trey Radel, 37, live-tweeted his review of Jay-Z’s widely-panned album, 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' Tuesday with his opinions of each of the album’s 15 tracks. Radel, a Republican, gave the album mostly glowing praise by calling various tracks 'pretty sick,' with a 'sick flow,' and calling one song a 'helluva track.' For another song he didn’t seem so passionate about, Radel deemed it a 'solid track.'"

If you are an elected official and use the words "pretty sick" or "sick flow," your colleagues should consider impeachment.
4.) Kim Jong-OWNED -- Note to elected officials: Kim Jong-Un is not on Twitter.  TheDC's Patrick Howley reports:

"Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen retweeted a message Tuesday from a well known Kim Jong-Un impersonator using foul language. 'SHIT JUST GOT REAL PANAMA' tweeted the account KimJongNumberUn, a message that was retweeted by the thirteen-term Florida Republican. Panamanian officials Tuesday seized a North Korean freighter carrying missile components traveling from Cuba toward the Panama Canal. Ricardo Martinelli, president of Panama, said the North Korean ship contained 'sophisticated missile equipment,' which would be a violation of U.N. sanctions on North Korea."

It's unclear if Ros-Lehtinen was just having some fun or actually thought that was the real account of the North Korean dictator. For that matter, TheDC Morning supposes it's also unclear whether she even regularly runs her own Twitter account.

5.) Tweet of the Yesterday -- Josh Greenman: Oh, good, we get another year at least of Chris Matthews saying "Chee-ney."

6.) Today in North Korean News -- BREAKING: Kim Jong Un Provides Field Guidance to Mushroom Farm
