Was this Obamacare Call-Center Operator Fired for Telling the Truth?

Obama urged Americans to call the Affordable Care Act phone hotline, because of the non-functioning website, so "they can walk you through the application process.” Conservative talk show host Sean Hannity decided to spare his listeners the hassle, so he called the hotline on the air during his radio show.

Hannity asked call-center employee Earline Davis why the website was so difficult to access, and she responded:

--"Everyone is trying to get in at one time and we’re having a lot of glitches in the system."

--"Did they tell you to tell us that? Hannity asked.

--"We have a script for that,” replied Davis, who proceeded to read the entire script for his radio audience.

Asked if she "ever got anybody that really likes it yet?" She responded "Um, no, not really."

She was fired the next day.

Hannity announced later that Davis had lost her job as a result of his phone call and he's offered to pay her lost salary while setting up an e-mail address (jobs@hannity.com) for employment tips for her.
